Moving Among Creatures of Illusion

dedicated to Premji

Moving among creatures of illusion,
One might sense a little doubt,
A man with open intuition,
Might wonder what it's all about.

Love is awareness,
Consciousness it self,
Undivided and free,
The sum of all identity.

The universe is ignorant,
You're better off to drop it,
If you want to be unshackled,
I suggest you pop it.

(The Big Bang)

Odor just shows up,
You can't see the smell,
The same is true of Heaven,
And so it is with Hell.

There are two kinds of dim wits,
One who knows, and one who knows not,
They both look about the same,
Though one is cold and one is hot.

To control the mind with the mind,
All answers are hard to define,
For how can a mind master the mind,
With thoughts, deaf, dumb and blind?

Truth is so simple. Just we fail to grasp it. Some examples quoted in the book 'What is Advaita? throw some light on it...........1) Is the space contained in a Jar(Consciousness in self) and Outside( Universal Consciousness ) different?............2) Are drops of Oceans ( Consciousness in Self) and Ocean (Universal Consciousness ) different?............3) Is a Pot ( Consciousness in Self) different from the Clay it is made of (Universal Consciousness )?............4) Is a Gold ornament( Consciousness in Self) and Gold (Universal Consciousness ) different?............5) Is the Individual (Consciousness in Self) and God (Universal Consciousness ) different?............Is it a Rope or a Snake? The way we assume matters. We can't see both simultaneously.
