Thought for the day - remembering the grief
of those not able to bear a child.

Barren by DanielKHC

Impassioned Plea.

Why, if even the smallest grass blades
hearing the passing of angels out on a mission
parade
Of whispering - - "Grow"
then burst into
birthsong,
Oh why then do not these same angels
bend a compassionate ear and hear with spiritual
favour
the impassioned plea
of this would-be mother in whispering
"Please"
then burst to assist her
birthsong ?

a woman is given the capacity to bear and nurture children and to have this taken away is such so tragic...but because of it maybe more orphaned children have more chances of having parents......an impassioned write on a woman's angst...

To have our own child is such a special gift and I remember my wish to have a child was the most important thing in the world. Your poem aches with longing and empathy and yet, some things are not meant to be. Written with just so much sensitivity Fay...

An ache like no other, such a grieved woman would say... Sometimes we do not understand fully why situations aren't always remedied... A passionate plea, well said

It is rather unfortunate Fay , that in our society here , such a woman is looked down upon and called 'banja' ='barren',a curse ! Of couse adoption is a way out . -Raj
