Crimson Flame

Crimson Flame
By: Adam M. Snow

Born from a pure amity spark,
feared by all hatred and sorrow,
lighting throughout the dark,
as it grows every morrow.

In the vastness of one's heart,
does it forever burn.
It's been here since the start,
yet with some, with their backs they turn.

Burning through all aspects of life,
yet hidden within by some,
as this flame suffers with strife,
their soul's becomes numb.

Was once for the pure affection,
now suffers darkened demise,
hatred is it's infection,
and all broken hearted cries.

It's not gone, just locked away,
though you may not know it just yet,
the day will come as it lights your way,
and shines brighter with not one regret.

You create a spark of hope and promise of something better. I like your opening. Born from a pure amity spark, feared by all hatred and sorrow, lighting throughout the dark, as it grows every morrow
