Noah's Ark Animals by amyzell

Close Encounters.

Armchair explorers, just like me,
Would like no better destiny
Than meeting creatures constantly
In close encounter naturally.

Akin to paradise would be
To stroke a full-grown lion maybe,
And then invite some chimps to tea.
If angry bulls had been set free
I would not broach them warily
Up close and friendly I would be.
I'd hug a warthog on my knee
And rub his snout with utmost glee,
My gleaming smile is all you'd see

But to have fear's only remedy
I would need the safest key,
Just like the documentary
Ten T.V. teams would cover me !
