Life feels like a dream, since the day you passed.I just wanted to cry and scream,on that day you said goodbye.

Missing You

Today is my Dad's birthday and I wrote this poem for him...He was a very good man and so loving...he also fought for this country in Vietnam and my family lost him to cancer last year on the 9th of December...he was always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh but now he's gone, it seems like all laughter has stopped...although he's gone, he's still with me in my heart and he's still alive in my memories...this poem is for him...I know this poem may not be as good like all my other poems it's just that this day has just been so hard.

Missing You
By: Adam M. Snow

Life feels like a dream,
since the day you passed.
I just wanted to cry and scream,
on that day you said goodbye.

You're within in my heart,
and alive in my memories,
I can never depart,
as long as you're with me.

I am missing you,
missing that gentle smile,
all the things I'm willing to do,
just to see you once again.

I shed tears every night,
with you on my mind.
To hear your voice would be delight,
even for a second, would bring me joy.

I miss you my father, my friend.
You're in Heaven waiting for me.
We'll meet again at days end,
at the gates of Heaven, it's you I'll see.

Snow, (may I call this way?) . I lost my father 4 years ago, it was his time. Nevertheless, there're are days too hard. Your poem is heart-felt, believe me, more than excellent.

You're lucky to have a good father Adam... and he's also lucky that he has a son like you... Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ;)-Misty
