Cold and alone I have become;
and now my essence is also numb.
All I want I cannot get;
and all and all I finally lost it.
Now my soul is stained from what you've become;
for my life, my soul is evermore numb.
You said you cared but now I see it in your eyes;
the truth you had said were but a bunch of lies.
I've seen the truths of what you're really are;
and all I have to show for it is this single red scar.
Now you've dragged me down to a place so dark;
all alone and also numb with this lonely mark.
Your eyes alone are enough to torture my lonely lost soul;
for all you have done I will never again be whole.
My essence is numb though I cannot deny;
all I want to do is set in my corner and wait to die.

Very strong words and the poem truly captures, as I see it, all the pain of the abused and disenfranchised of our world and institutions...
A poignant write with good rhyme throughout. Instead of feeling sad and sorry for yourself, it's better to let this one pass and move on wih your life - there are a lot moe beautiful things in life if you only change your perspective a little bit. In a lighter vein, I'd like to add that I was trying to compare your verse with "Numb' of Linkin Park. Have you heard this song?
