The hourglass drops grains of sand; with thy one I take in hand. For time will soon cease and end in fear; for they would come and disappear.

The Hourglass

The Hourglass
By: Adam M. Snow

The hourglass drops grains of sand;
with thy one I take in hand.
For time will soon cease and end in fear;
for they would come and disappear.

The hourglass falls at the end;
for there will be no one left to befriend.
When the last sand falls;
the writings will be shown on the walls.

The hourglass shown thy pain;
for the light will soon rain.
The hourglass drops grains of sand;
with thy one I take in hand.
