Come secret air

Come secret air,
Assaulting the belly of ocean;
Champagne laughs will find your drunken original
When the mob sucks down the bone-dry blood of time,
Mindless of the unstoppable forever
That’s found between the everywhere.

Provokes my thinking and imagination. Difficult dealing with those infinities. Like your creative images: belly of ocean and bone'dry blood.

I hear echoes of e.e. cummings, in some of the phrasing, a style that is very difficult to pull off; I am always in awe of your surrealism that adds an air of mystery to your poems.

Breathing secret air when 'the mob sucks down the bone-dry blood of time..'.Just unforgetable, Patti!

Both this and Threshed Light have a remarkable impact in their brevity. I couldn't decide which impressed me more - I think I have to choose this one for its intense imagery.
