Girls night out by DryIcons

A Night Out ?

Hey Babe!
Let's go out for a midnight rave.
We can wine and dine now,
Then go out on the town.
Go to a dive
Where the music's alive.

Oh Dear!
When you put on that sexy gear
With hair long and curly,
I go out of my mind girl.
Wanton desire.
Always sets me on fire.

Whoah Hon.!
Just look what that talkin' has done.
Who needs food anyway.
It looks like we're in to stay
Put on a disc
A night out won't be missed.

Here Pet!
I didn't think you'd get upset.
You goin out on your own ?
Hey Hon. dont leave me alone.
She's gone I see.
And forgotten the key.

this is fun to read ....she would definitely be gone , as the talking has done the final damage ...and who would bother about the key when the locks are lost ...

From a male point of view, Fay this poem is full of fun, I would love to be the perfect stranger that you meet

Superb! An immaculate write of piercing insight into the death of a taken for granted, boring, onesided relationship - I don't think your female protagonist will be coming climbing back through anyones window. I love this. It is truth expressed with all the beauty and subtlety of poetry Fay. Bookmarked as a must read for every female person alive! :) kath xxxx

Fantastic picture Fay! I love the dialogue. No doubt about you, writing in old English style and then with this modern vibe with such humor. Love it!
