First posted last year but re-worked
a little so back again for a second airing.

See Through Me by Ed Brydon

To Remind You.

Went your work well ?
Did the bluebird I sent land on your shoulder
and flutter you into a smile ?

Ends your day well ?
Did you know it is I arrange sunbeams to play
gently around your eyes,
and persuade afternoons to lighten your workaday
load with brighter moments ?

Goes your evening well ?
Are you aware every morning I parcel up showers from
graying skies, so tightly
that there remains by eventide only rainbowing arcs
in warm tender sunsets in cloudless blue
to remind you of me ?

Falls your sleep well ?
Are your nighttime dreams lit with the stardust I ordered
and does my love warm every corner
of your heart until dawn ?

Goes your life well ?
