From as big as a sesame seed, you grew up in my womb
Counting down every month, watching over your growth
You grew to around 3 inch in month three and then to 8 inch,
When you touched month 5, about the size of a pepsi can
Month 6 due for Fetal Anatomy scan, and found you are a girl
It’s just the third day of New Year; the joy comes as New Year gift
Month 6 is much blessed, in my womb I felt you for first
Kicking and moving around, it’s beyond words to express
Month 7, your brain tissues formed, and you are about 17 inch
You are growing up. You can hear and jumps at loud noise.
We named you Liana, means God Has Answered
Yes, you are the answer to a 4 year prayers.
Month 8, doctor appointment due, saw you moving in the screen
Doctor said you weigh 1.7Kg; you are growing at a normal pace
Baby, you moves around and kicks me, and proves you are growing
Stronger and stronger each day, watching you move makes my day
Month 9, you are fully grown, and weighed 2.8 Kg
All organs fully grown, to come and meet the world
Counting down went from month to weeks and
From weeks to days now, Sooner days to hours
Month 10, we cleaned the house corner to corner
Emptied a shelf, all to welcome you to our happy world
We bought your dresses, wrap up blankets and accessories
How can we wait any longer to see you, little Angel
The big day has come; we are waiting at hospital bed
Monitoring you every second and seconds seems like hours
I just can't wait to see your lovely face and to hold you
Close to me and to hug you with endless kisses
Everything was moving fine until that moment arouse a panic
I saw doctor screaming at the top of her lungs to save you in 10 minutes
A loop of cord tied around your neck dropping your heartbeat to 50
My baby, you are so precious to lose for any reason
Its God’s abundant Grace, we got you safe and healthy
Weighing 3.1 kg and 50cm from head to crown
Heaven rejoices at birth of a perfect child, a precious star
Proved you are so special to God more than to your parents
We received you with thanks and hearts overflowing with joy
