The majority of the lines are only three syllables - this together with repetition - gives an urgency and flow to the poem. The poem poses a question is this a poem about six different maidens or one maiden in the guise of six very different blooms ???? Comments would be appreciated.
Sweet Rosebud
seeing you
numbs senses
love's coolness
together.
Sweet Jasmine
cool my heart
together wrapped
love's embrace
together.
Sweet Violet
your garden
and herbscent
love's union
together.
Sweet Hyacinth
stretch my heart
to hold us
love's enticement
together.
Sweet Dahlia
you fill me
with longing
love's promise
together.
Sweet Columbine
heat my heart
0n my bed
love's passion
TOGETHER !!!

I love flowers of all kind~ this was a very "fragrance -filled" poem/nice very nice John.
i can be the Sweet Jasmine... which are used in making perfume and in flavouring tea!! -Misty...
you can have one each for 6 days, then on Sunday enjoy them all!! (as a bouquet!!)
could be one or six well written
Please please; I want to be the Violet. ;)
i like this form John...you can have more verses because of the 3 word line... lovely
