ehem... no offense ;-) this is based on the stories I have heard, not on my personal experience lol
It is said to be the loveliest of all,
Though I do wonder,
How many men secretly ponder?
We, men, do have the final word,
Sadly, that is;
“I’m sorry my dearest.”
We, men, also reserve the privilege,
Of running to the end of that golden chain,
And bark! And bark! And bark! And bark!
"Honey, can I just look?"
WOOF! WOOF!
yelp! yelp! yelp! yelp!
We, men, defy the one,
Who invented rings,
They do look like miniature handcuffs.
And we thought we knew!
They say it is grand,
No wonder… though,
It costs several grands.
We, men, thought it’s a simple word,
And yet it turned out to be,
An entire sentence,
A life sentence.
May they rest in peace!

yes? that's a common story, you told it nicely with clear and figurative language
