I am to much religious person, but I have been enlighten by the deep philosophical truth of Buddhism.Buddha was not a divine figure but a human been like you and I,despite all the troublesome social conditions he preached his teachings which is universal and unparallel.Through my poem I am not trying to disdain other religions, but I wanted to create a picture about the reality of our life.....
Ascending-descending,
high or low.....
Plotting and planing..
burn in the couldren of lust.......
Mingling around the
labyrinth of 'Sansara'
to seek the thread of
redemption.....
But,
It's too far from
the 'inferno' of,
our wicked desires......
Conspiring, Competing,
misleading and cheating
with arrogance.......
We are hapless mortals,
We lead this futile journey
with grief and contempt....
O, our enlighten one
thou were born in the
same rotten world
of suffering.....
But,
thou vanquished,
the sentimental human limits........
Thou rose up as a
pure lotus on
a muddy pond...
Thou showed
us way to achive
the sublime 'Nirvana'....
State of eternal purification....
through great four noble truths.....
But,
we lesser wreched beings, , , , , , , , , ,
know nothing of
thy doctrines......
act like saints but,
treachery, cupidity, anger....
evil elements are
glittering behind our masks.....
O, Exalted one
pardon for our,
stolidity......
envy and greed....
send thy supreme light......
to this gloomy earth
of darkness.......
please, redeeme us......
