You kiss me, I melt
as snow to your swelling sun.
Flowers of my heart
lost in Winter sleep
burst ripe buds with earth’s embrace
stirring in Spring’s breeze
of sweet blossoming.
You are everywhere, the bee
spellbound on the rose
as red blooms unfold
plush velour petals of love.
You are everywhere.
Spider’s dewed web sways
to swinging scintillation.
Kookaburra laughs
bliss to frost’s love bites
as first light of morn’ lilts grand
span of song-bird’s wings.
The now unbuttons
us with ice fingers of sleet
as shadows shiver
and deface red rose!
My third eye scans for larkspur
blue of Summer skies
yet skies chase, scorn me
storm’s eye spurts black to thunder
claps as blooms wither
fall and spin away
bittersweet memories of
the morn’ you almost
poisoned the flowers
evermore in my soft heart
when you
