Moonlight by Kpals

Moon Baiting.

Come, mesh your face in quivering sparkle
Which tops the dark lake.
Diamonds are free in the ripples tonight.
Eastwise from shore cast your eyes
And watch silent surface take
Prizes from starlight,
Feast on silky-white glittering glass,
Fish will rise to this bait

Come, see the sphere shed her nightwear
And cover the water with lace.
If we gaze deeper we can see more
Of her fully-faced stare.
Gentle marsh zephyrs uncover her arc
And make her gyrate.
Their foreplay promotes assured
Mating with highlights
Roused fish then become sated.

Come, let us go moon baiting
Fishes might jump, gem-hunting awaits
And clouds will try lunar-obeisance
When she turns her pale eye
As she loves adulation.
So come, let not this moment go by
Let us go baiting with moonlight tonight
Just you and I.

Masterpiece. Gentle flow seamless strokes one metaphor to the next close enough in texture to blend but enough to contrast and give movement like a spy glass surveying the length and breadth of this moony lake and all the creatures stirring and bustling beneath.
