A random scribbling.

I Have a Dream

A world without countries,
Races,
Nor religions.
But a world,
Where only humans live.

A world without boundaries,
Horizons,
Nor margins.
But a world,
Where infinity is the limit.

A world where people work,
For a better tomorrow,
Not just dream of.

A world where people admire,
The blooming roses,
In their own yard,
Not just dream of a,
Magical garden,
Beyond the horizon.

A world where people stand,
Up on their own.
A paradise filled with,
Freedom.

Ah Freedom.
So near, yet so far.

That's a wonderful poem, with echoes in its theme and title of Martin Luther King's famous speech. The last 2 lines are very deep indeed - though, if I may add, that freedom is in one dropping all conditioning and so seeing things as they are; freedom is by no one else and never in a group. It's an invaluable dream, Jayaruwan.

this world was built on dreams, as MLK did say and as he, KENNEDY and so many others have fought for. it will happen, but maybe not in my lifetime but hopefully in yours. keep the dream alive through your poetry.
