FRUIT-LOOPS

My stomach stirs my sleep as life pulls me outside
To watch the moon cross the sky
As the mist starts to rise, the stars start to fade
Yet the sun is still just a glow
Robins wake slowly, quietly rustling their nest
As worms crawl out of the dew
Wearing only a robe I watch the sun say hello
To the tranquil no traffic morn
Armed with a spoon and with a bowl in my lap
I'm ready to wake-up the world
Timing my breaths, the wind has now died
CRUNCH
The robin takes flight
CRUNCH, CRUNCH
As my jaw moves, the world wakes
Still chilled but now warming, I smile
As I hold the bowl to my mouth and drink life

I love the world waking while you crunch! Somehow that just goes together nicely! Haha! Beautiful portrayal of sunrise, a time that I rarely see myself!

I love the casualness! Simple experiences are often those that give us the most peace. It is our time to be free.

A totally fresh look at the morning and coming alive through your imaginative way with word, - - - sharing moments of poetic inspiration, this verse is a delight Steve, Love the clever first line, and the final phrase is a stunner.
