My friend Shan challenged me to write a love poem, without falling in love lol though I don't know how successful I am lol

The Charm

A crying feather,
Forgotten to float,
Ashamed, what a shame.
Why don’t you float?
I saw her eyelashes.

A drowning pearl,
Forgotten to glitter,
Embarrassed, what a shame.
Why don’t you glitter?
I saw her eyes.

A dying river,
Forgotten to flow,
Humiliated, what a shame.
Why don’t you flow?
I saw her hair.

A howling rose,
Forgotten to bloom,
Dishonored, what a shame.
Why don’t you blossom?
I saw her lips.

A dancing fire,
Vanishing away,
Disgraced, what a shame.
Where are you going?
I saw her dancing.

For once, just once,
Nature lost its charm,
And faded away.

I enjoyed the structure and originality expressed here. Love can be difficult to describe. You pulled it off with class.

Ha ha .. It is amazing the way in which you matured yourself as a great poet in matter of few days. lol Ha ha, When I said a love poem, I expected something else altogether man lol. But, still your free flowing lines are woven with such precise expertise that they touch tender parts of human soul. Good..
