fire of love by cloud_nine

Need.

It begins with a mere thought that catches,
off-guard, a shard in heart's core, and a
memory starts. The sound of a voice can
spark into lightning speed as it greases
new parts in an uneasy mind. Heartache
begins with silent unlocking of hunger so
deep it reels from sutured emotion, outwins
any attempt to surmount lonely needs
and sends waves of salt-laden yearning to
speak face to face with the lover who holds
an end to heated internal desire. A personal
pyre of distance is lit and smoulders with
flame of secretive love. Heartache is needier
than any obsession, and remains unyielding.

how well you have explained those moments that become larger than lives and the needs that have foundations in the eternity ...this is full of life and the stuff that goes in making an important part of it ...

You combine romantic and classical expression in this beautifully crafted and highly individual approach to a subject that has the power to break hearts and destroy nations. Your final line is breathtaking in its insight!!! Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Love that ending thought. Funny how something so abstract in conception can wield such total power over our lives.

Feels circular. Coming back to need in unending variation but need is always there so this paints it recognizably for what it is in all its flavors. Good job.
