an invitation from Raj Arumugam.
Very Upright.
I am your very upright, short
Exclamation mark - ! ! !
but please note
You get out of control mostly
With me ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
when I ought
To be used wisely you dote
On my form, ! ! ! ! ! !
and seem caught
Up with my simple-to-tote
Over thin waist-line, ! ! !
and brought
Close to the point of a boast
I exclaim "I am here " !
so please to vote
My punctuation good marks,
overwrought
You may be but use me
to re-coat
Your inane remarks ! ! !
the more haughty
I am the better I sound !
so do post
Me around for extra force
Use my emphasis ! ! !
I load the quotation
You use ! ! ! !
I am your line- fortress ! !
So forget you were taught
To stifle my horn !
I sound throaty
So blow me ! ! !
My punctuation
Will add to your thought !
ha-ha, exclamation points.. can you imagine a world without them?!?!?!?!
