In reality were all lucky.

We are pretty lucky.
In all we see we take it for granted.
I am lucky.
I have a roof over my head.
I have food on my plate.
I have good values.
I have a good family.
Luck is all around.
Especially here.
We have water to drink,
bath in,
play in, and more.
We have food to spare.
We have a new friendly face to meet.
We have it good.
We can read.
We can learn.
We are all alive.
We take it all for granted.
No matter what we have,
were all lucky.
How fortunate we are alive.
We live in a universe beyond measure.
Our earth is like an atom.
Yet we are perfectly planted.
In which to allow us to live.
We have water on our planet,
the source of our lives as well.
We as humans are lucky.
We can control what we do.
We don't always have to hide.
We have cities,
and countries.
We have cars,
bikes,
and even wagons.
We as Americans are lucky.
We don't have to watch our mouths.
We don't have to watch what we do.
In reality,
were all lucky.

That's true...those of us with comfortable lives fail to appreciate what we've got... By the way, in Australia, we call ourselves the Lucky Country!

Hannah, if even 1/10th of our worlds people subscribed to your auspiciously up-beat & appreciative socraticism, what a kinder & far more productive people & planet we'd be. God's Gift of Free Will hath surely been twisted like the Barvarian pretzel! However this poem ,with its smooth, fluxed structure & positive energized message is a poetic work worth reading again , & promoting anytime....anywhere....Solid crafting, young lady...And yes, indeed....lucky people we be....we are alive...and each moment we are, offers us opportunity to make a difference....savor all that lies afront us, and look forward to another tomorrow.....
