Water Runs Deep

Only deep can be answered by deep.
So goes the wise saying.
Nothing that merely floats shallow can
respond to depth-calls.
What is needed is a bottomless
submarine plan.
Helping those passing through
floods often
means we too must have been
there before,
and have hauled ourselves out,
must have softened
wet stony-hard pathways,
made the floor
easier to navigate yielding reserves
to hold in trust for releasing
other's needs.
So goes the wise saying.
If we grow just outwardly, preserving
only ourselves,
we grown inwardly weak,
But deep water treasures
once gained we keep.

I love abstract-almost-turning-reality pieces like this one.

The aimless voyage and the mysterious soul-ship tosses on the bottomless Ocean. Thank you Fay you remind us the depth.
