A tribute to glorious summer.

Vine tendril by maya_dragonfly

Flora Favours Curls.

No horizontal straight-edged lines,
Level, plumbed-right, water-tight
Squared-up neat and all alligned
Appear in Nature's pearls.

Sweet Flora features curvatures,
Spiraled circles re-occur,
Smoothly rounded appertures
To meet her need for swirls.

No calculated regiments
Of misdirected incidents
Mar any featured accidents
In curvaceous Nature-girls.

The green Queen likes to circumvent
To twirl a tendril, re-invent,
Straight lines are bent with her intent
To twine, - Flora favours curls.

The beauty is best expressed....A poem in line with the nature.

Nice! As a counterpoint, however, I was thinking of how Nature manufactures crystals with symmetrical, linear perfection.... how magnetism 'freezes' atoms in alignment as volcanic magma cools. The miracle perhaps is that nature can do both upon a whim....... Regards, Tony

A delightful read Fay. Even better when read aloud.

It makes sense to me that nature's wiles prove feminine in design. Fun observations on this one!

A heady, twirling, curvaceous curl of verse entwining itself around Nature, and like Nature itself, perfectly beautiful Fay! :) kath xxxxxxxxxxx
