This poem is my very first poem I've written in 2005.I found it today when I was passing my note book.So I just thought I should share this with you all.
Red Rose - Symbol of Love
The red rose is a queen of beauty
Full blown fragrant and bright
Love is expressed through a red rose
If you received a rich red rose
It is a sign that somebody really loves you
Red symbolizes enduring romantic love
The Red rose represents passionate love
Respect courage and adoration
Reminding them of their strong bond
A single red rose signifies “I Love You”
They’re travelling down "Lover's Lane"
Hearts can be won with a red rose
The Red rose is the arrow into the heart
Love is a wonderful romantic thing
Indeed, it’s totally magical
It gives peace and happiness
It brings two people together
Their hearts and souls come closer
Their chain of love is bound with a red rose
Receiving a red rose every day develops their love
A rich red rose is the Power of Love

It is a red rose after all, everyone would like it. A good attempt of an adolescent. :)
The rose poem as love or lover. Very over done. You have to really bring something special to this subject. Even the greats of done it. I don't see it here. There is only a few billion rose poems written each year so don't worry about it at all. Now if the rose would have grown through barbwire it might be something special.
