poppy Parker Pillow Talk by vanessaperrin77

Pillow-Talk.

Last night I cradled your warm sleepy head
Which rested at first peacefully, you whispered
Deeply intimate dreams into me instead
Of he who caused you increasing sighs, resisted
My soft caress until a tear dropped between
You and I, and trembling, red lips murmered
His name, your fingers fondled my face feeling
For gentle support, your breathing grew fervent
And quickly showed me repeatedly he still
Captures your ardent heart, shadows lighting
On unopened eyes dimly flickered, until
A shudder shook your whole frame, sensing fight
Against more sleep you arose, left me cosily
Smelling of your fragrant hair until the next
Time you feel the need of more feathered doses
Of lullaby-sympathy in my pillowed rest.

nicely done...if only all pillows could talk like that....there would be less fighting
