A short poem I wrote sitting in my lawn about the sun and shadows.

The Sun and it's Shadow

One shines,
Like gold,
Heating my body,
As I sit in this empty
Grass field.
The other is dark,
Undoubtably cold,
As it covers my whole
Like a shield.

this took me to my school days..studying in a residential school situated in a hill station...after breakfast we used to gather and stand in patches were the sun was...because of the shadow of the buildings...though in a warm country like india we prefer the shade
