Fay's poem Best Outed, has been at work in me..

Sensuous

We are sensuous because we live:
In mute islands of flesh, we breathe
Through silk-screened lungs-
The storied touch, all forgives.

Young, we nuzzle seamless ports
For the milk of our thriving;
Touch tells us what we need to know,
Of this body we live
And have our imbibing.

Broken, the raw surface of love;
The presence breathes,
We gently heave,
Till we are one.

A seething mix of whys and hows , this verse divides life into known parts so precisely and ends with a truth -- "til we are one" - - a most powerful piece and am glad my poem has been at work in your talented mind.... a stunning read.
