Where Our Heart Is Docked? by myudistira

Love's Sweet Needs.

Later my love we will mingle with twilight.
Wander
through woods
that secrete our delight.

In a short while we will dine by candlelight.
Sample
wine's juices
which keen passion's bite.

After a time, we will sit in dim firelight.
Warm
love's sweet needs
and await coming night.

Then we might walk by the lake in cool moonlight.
Hollow
a grass patch
to ease lover's plight.

At last we will bed, in deep feathered starlight.
Yield
to desire then
when love feels just right.

Fay, you have set hearts racing with this stunning poem that is romance at its very best. The deep feathered starlight really did it for me as the feathers of a bird are so romantic when they fluff up. Mmmmm can I be a feather on the wall?
