"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"...."It produces a few notes...very flat and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front" quote by Lewis Carroll

Who's The Raven Maniac here?

Was Alice really searching for wonderland?
or was she just walking away...somewhere
expressing wanderlust
for me
Is a palace really underground?
or is a mole bigger than a freckle?
When the whole world disgusts
I'm free
Can oxen ford at Folly Bridge
while grown men row with
Liddell girls
Growing up of going down
make Alice sad
her pool of tears most profound

I love the sense of oxymoron in this that I can't really lay hold of. I think that takes a lot of art and skill to make something appear so careless and profound at the same time (like Alice's tears; she must in some way have felt herself at the mercy of something much larger? lol)
