Scars

Every scar on your arm
Tells of a different story
Although you beg me not to
I can't help but to worry

I can picture the razor
So sharp and thin
Every new mark
Makes you feel you finally win

Going deeper each cut
So you know your pain
The blood spills in bright drops
Like the slow steady rain

So you face the world with a smile
But I can see through it in your eyes
Every scar on your arm
Was once a silent cry

Your evident penchant for establishing rhythmic metre as well as fluxive stanzaic movement is impressive...Not crazy 'bout the storyline, as it has unfortunately been worn to tatters over the past decade...but moreso because in reading your poem"Permanent Marks", i believe you to be able to reach deeper into the roots of your skill-set, and be more innovative, as you were in that poem of very similar storyline. That said, your talent displays itself well here, and the above piece(imo) is work well done ! \\\FjR///
