New Day

O faded night, you once again renew
Aroused from slumber, heralding the morn
As day, new bless'd with glinting jewel-like dew
And lilting song of jubilance, is born

Expel all thought of melancholic gloom
And watch the sun kiss Mother Nature's spread
As dormant creatures leisurely assume
A vibrancy, as morning gathers head

So count each unexampled break of day
As benediction, celebrate its birth
Let hope and expectation guide your way
And cherish every day upon this Earth

I love how you take a feeling, thought, or idea and wrap it up it this neat little package that is embellished with lovely prose.

"So count each unexampled break of day As benediction, celebrate its birth" A very optimistic way to begin a new day....lovely
