Domine Salvam Fac Reginam

Great regnant years fell not the silent sage
Though fearful traitors flail their swords in spite
Unique apotheosis of your age
Live long to see those dullards bow contrite
Near three score years of stately dignity
Though kin inflicted wounds upon your reign
Republicans, your dream could never be
Whilst echoes of Her Majesty remain
So banish talk of scheming treasonists
Let not the cold reformers intervene
As long as grace and duty still exists
Elizabeth remains our noble queen
Good subjects of your kingdom proudly say
Salvam fac reginam, O Domine

I've written something along these lines... we can't throw away our past... It has brought wealth and knowledge... the other way brings poverty, hunger and despair... Great poem...
