SEMANTICS

I recall the time when a 'gay deceiver'
was the colloquial description for a padded bra.
Now it refers to a pomiscuous homosexual?

It was Amanda in The Glass Menagerie who delivered that phrase, if I remember correctly. Your semantic reminder is a testament to the ephemeral nature of language. I am also reminded of a line from Wordsworth's Daffodils: 'A poet could not but be gay, in all that jocund company'. he he! Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
