Ivory Beauty

His eyes were like fire, as they burned into my skin,
He looked at me with emotion, looking me outside and in,
I watch as he pulled my hair back, taking in my smell,
I pulled him even closer, this seemed to go down well,

His body hard as granite, motionless against my stare,
I held my hand up and dragged it through, his thick black curly hair,
I felt him on my fingertips , So cold to the touch,
To many feelings towards him, all these feelings were to much,

We stood in the centre, of a large abandoned room,
I held him close towards me, dancing in the gloom,
we span eyes locked in the darkness, nobody else on earth,
I was milking every moment, taking it for all it was worth

I felt as he let go of me, and pulled away so quick,
I was falling in love with a stranger, this love i did not pick,
He held his hand out towards me, And i grabbed and held it tight,
Then i soared off with my vampire, dissapearing into the night

Ah! I thought reading it a vampire would appear as it is such a powerful and provocative poem. Vampires are becoming popular in Mills and Boon books too. Well done!

Great poem Charlotte, there is just something about loving a vampire that stirs the emotions , this really takes me back :)

Wow, a vampires allure. I think I know what happened to the narrator here. I think I know how she disappeared into the night. Great write, sensual and emotive.
