Touching Mountains

As I stepped into the shower
I could feel you dreaming
My chest expanded
As you inhaled

As I left for work
Your pillow turned over
I got goosebumps
As you shivered

Halfway to work the sun came out
Your alarm went off
Music filled my head
And you smiled

Passing a waterfall I rolled down the window
I could smell your coffee
You took a sip
I burnt my tongue

I stopped to touch a mountain today
And felt you on the other side

How do you manage to capture those moments with words? You are a true romantic and can pen it as well as the best of them, in fact you are one of the best! Great write.
