~Symphonies of Light

.
Exposed to starlight,
stripped bare by moonlight.

It's a conscious stream
of those living the dream,
unfolds me origamically
with every beam.

These tears on my face--

I cannot hide.
Where time and space
will soon collide.

They pry open my soul
and expose a sweet sunshower.
They strip me to bone
within one hour.

I fall like Icarus,
where my wings have failed.
My feet land on Neptune
yes!--

the moon and stars prevailed.

Where symphonies of light
will do what they'll do.
As for me--

What a view! What a view!

Enjoyable to read. I like the origamically unfolding image as well as your use of historic characters. Good matching of rhymes.

sensual, raw, effervescent, fun Great rhyme and tempo so cool. Lyrical I think, perhaps a song?

As if each line from the very beginning steps aside for the next line's honour...very wonderful poem from the first line to the last...including the rhyme scheme and the theme.

This is an amazing piece, Mark. I love 'origamically unfolded', it's so original, and all the Greek allusions. Great finale too!
