For My Friends

Dear friends I have lately decided
Enough is enough for a while
So before my pen runs totally dry
I want to say Thank You in style.

My gratitude cannot be worded
Sufficient for that which you wrote
To support my humble efforts at verse
You all raised a lump in my throat.

This ditty is just a reminder
For now I must alter my pace.
The break is only for summertime.
I'll be back, so just watch this space.

Keep up the good work.
God bless.

Now, how in the hell did i miss this ? ! ! ! Could have been the recent 2+ weeks that my Home P.C. was at the Cyber Med Center for a Mother Board Transplant ... Who knows...but being that prior to this Temp-SwanSong, you were on the disabled list with that arm/shoulder injury, i just assumed that your recovery time had been extended//////////////////// Hey, FAY...Thank YOU for YOUR support, friendship(which remains intact, Freak or no Freak)! And thank you for your warm welcome in making me feel right at home from my very first posting upon my joining this site(on your recommendation, no less) this past February 1st...And, yes, you best return, young lady or i'll come lookin for ya'....and tho' i don't do planes... i do swim & sail....And miles to me are no different than years of age to me & that is : Numbers are insignificant.....I'll get over to your side of the pond we share,my dear...No Problemo...., synchronize my watch to Big Ben, wave my pocket-square gauchely as i pass Buckingham, and hunt ya down, lass !You take care...Be Well, and even if you aren't posting....don't bury that pen too long....for even the finest of our Classic Scribes who have sabaticaled for long periods of time, were sorry they did, when they decided to pick up where they left off...and quickly found out that rust doesen't only attract to metal !....Keep In Touch, my friend !\\\FjR///

Hi Fay! Sorry to hear you need to leave us for a summer vacation of sorts. Words sometimes need to take a break to be re-written. I have had that happen to me at times. God Bless you Fay and have a great summer. Linda
