At times youth is wasted on the young

Love that Damned Elusive Shrinkabelle

Love that damned elusive
shrinkabelle

When boys do love,
kiss and tell,

The maiden doth nurse
a broken heart

He shouted loud
she was a tart,

His brains to his feet
now had sunk

An’ she was right
he was a skunk.

I love the title Ken and the clever way you play with words like the other poets say. It brought back memories too!

Great wordplay in the beguiling title, and the wonderful tale of caddish lads and scarlet-pimpled girls has left me smiling. ;)
