Elizabeth's Dilemma.

With decoram dashed,
....................... she did not bemoan
Admissable facts,
..................... that she was now roled
As a kept mistress
.................... and knew no moping
Could hide her condition,
........................................ her eloping
Had scarcely
......................... espoused propriety.

Let scruples of conscience
.................... be cursed, thought she.
Then, girding herself
.................................. for family fight
She wrote to her father,
.................................... a hearty plea.

Would he, in exchange
.................. for granting her wedlock
Withold permission
............................of Title and stock?

This is a very interesting concept Fay, and I like what you have done with it, also I am wondering did you find the pictures first and then write? Or write and get lucky finding perfect pictures??? But however, the poems stand alone without pics. Innovative, I like the series.
