Wishing You Spring.

For all the splendours of winter
when cold accosts
the eye
with sparklings of flaky-white
frost-fairied lawns
lighting each dawn sky,
I start wishing you Spring.

For when the earth bursts
with passion,
abundantly births shape
in multitude form
as life-force
spills, producing new
at speedy rate,
I start wishing you Spring.

For fragranced delights
inspire love,
blood heats like soil, and when
faced with pulsating
raw urges
to blossom with heights
untied again,
I start wishing you Spring.

i love the spring, i love this poem but this line made me smile with sparklings of flaky-white frost-fairied lawns lighting each dawn sky, arn't those clear feb. nights, with a blanket of snow and a full moon, so bright that it hurts your eyes, magical?
