An honest message of Goodbye after a relationship ends - - and now written in rhyme.

Opening New Door by ღĴęNňζ™

I Am Enough.

Do not knock at my door and cry.
I am not there.
Do not ask why.

Only know that I had to go.
Our time is through.
I will say "No".

I know now that I am enough.
When duty ends.
Life will get tough.

But do not knock at my door again.

It's great to see poets experimenting, that's what moves us all on. This style suits you, the terse style works well for the message you are trying to convey here. If I was going to suggest anything for improvement it would be to make the last stanza three lines the same as the first two stanzas. Great opening and ending lines.

When it's over it's over . A strong short piece. There's no going back. The strength comes from knowing the end. Take the knocker off Fay.
