Half Moon by eugkyr

Nobody's April Fool

Silver tongued words
curled about
her hair
whispering
low in each ear
soft sounds
on a one-night stand

His heated breath
melted reserve
as pulses
quickened
around
her every curve
on a one-night stand

Would she though
go through
with this
full-moon
madness,
or was she
going to prove nobody's
April Fool
on a one-night stand ?

Wise words said in my youth, to save myself for married life. Will I did and I am glad...Never wondering what I had missed or even looking back... Nice Poem... Listen well you younger studs.

A fascinating and thought provoking write, Fay, written with just the right touch of mystique and romance. Loved how you repeated that great line, "On a one night stand" quite appropriately in this enchanting poem! Carl.
