Lovers in Japan by enteo botus

Why Love Stories ?

Heaven itself
cannot hold hidden
accounts of great human love,
and many a tale has been expertly written,
transmitted by muse,
but dispatched from above.

Great or tragic
or merely mundane,
love, as most writers stress
is themed very often
thus, and with sweet love's refrain
poetic tributes strive to impress.

Love cushions,
attracts, and satisfies soul,
pleasures desires, gives meaning
to why folk aspire to feel good
about being whole
and inspires feats to set hearts dreaming.

Such love stories
answer humanity's needs,
great love affairs require
the desire to give more attention
to love's unsung deeds
everyday love at times needs re-firing.

The stories of love are so great
that they give universal proof,
which the Unseen
world dares to anticipate
will some day envelop the earth,
of a future that knows nothing but love.
