agoraphobia by the little sparrow

My Windowpane

Lifestyles that smother demand defiance.
Faith-shaded dreams fly dry-eyed, vibrantly.
Pitiless rules concede no real rewards.
Freedom's mood calms and permeates boredom.

Warm will be sight of your words from afar.
Rain washed my windowpane clean and unmarked
Virgin-love's rebirth brings solace, discreetly.
Now I look to bright sunrise as old stars retreat.

Sometimes our lives demand & desrve a fresh new start...one that allows us to be ourselves, moreso than perhaps we have settled to be in the past.Time, age & life experience guides us,taps that side of our brains...the logical halve that tells us what is truly best for us...And hopefully, we as the Imagists, place that "OTHER' halve of our brains on "Temporary Hold" mode ,as we do have a darting propensity to take dreams & hopes beyond the norm,do we not ? !Very Fine Work,Ms. Fay !.....\\\FjR///

This is clearly a very thought-provoking and well expressed poem, Fay, one whose words no not reveal all the emotions lying just beneath the surface of this superbly written reflection on life and romance. As it so often does, your excellent poetic phrasing makes this poem an exquisite read. Carl.
