You made me love the strength of a strong woman,
when you gave me granma.
You put love in my heart by blessing me with a gentle,
compassionate man like granpa.
You gave me friendship,
when my cousin Eric came into my life.
You gave me leadership when I found Jesus.
You showered me with precious gems,
when you gave me my children and grandchildren.
You soothed me when you introduced me to
the beautiful tones of music.
You gave me comfort with the warmth of the sun.
You gave me peace when the day was done.
