Across the Bay by Steve Slimm

Love Will Live.

Part of a permanent, love
does not alter after a time.

Hurt will not break it,
nor parting or pain.

Nothing will change it,
spacially pure, love will stay.

After I've gone you will find
in my rhymes love will live on.

You're right Faye, love will live, no matter what. Your final couplet is a reminder to all of us scribes that immortality is ours for the penning. Truth penned eloquently and without too many words. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

A mega byte of poetry , from a fertile mind, a million words and phrases, from one so refined, her words of love are endless, as are waves upon the sea, and she puts them on poetry freak, for all of us to see.
