A thought came to my mind.So I converted into a poem.To a certain extent I would say this is a true story.

Sun Burnt Me

I walked to the door step
It was a sunny day
Uncle Johnny called me outside
I ran and passed the pine tree
Sun shimmered
Uncle Johnny waited for me...
Oh no! Bloody tyrant sun rays
Touched my hand and face
I couldn't face up to it
My face turned red
Oh gosh! Sun burnt me....
My heart drowned, full of
Sadness and unshed tears....
I was excited!
I couldn't bear my wounds’ pain
O thou saddest day!
I wonder why the Sun
Burned me.....
Gloomed and doomed my life
Sun scorched me
Left its deadly marks on me
Aimed its rays to destroy me
Is this my life fate?

I suppose it is never too late to respond to a poem...the sun does seem to attack these days so we must cover up, hide, duck, dodge and welcome it still after the rain. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing

Reading all the comments, I see that your poem is open to a lot of interpretations and possible advice as to what to do in our own lives. I reread it and found more meaning. Those last lines lend a definite seriousness to it.

The wound inside the heart is alway unforgettable; We can put it behind us, but we will not forget it at all. This is very well done. We can ask all we want but the answers will never come about our wounds until we see our own darkness beneath the burning light of the sun. Try leaping away from your shadow? :-) Nice poem Dulashi. Sometimes an image is created in a split second, and it has been brewing in our hearts for a long time before. You have used the metaphor of the sun extremely well, but as Bob says it can also warm our hearts. If we believe the bone has been pointed and we believe it can bring in negativity it will. Deep philosophical thoughts here Dulakshi.

Our sun burns, but it can also warm our hearts our minds. Nice use of words.
