A Home Away From Tears

Why do I run from the things I love
Why do you see me flee
with glee
Will you run away with me
run till we finally drop
We're both too poor
to find a door
excuses were made to pop
but where will we go that the world can't find

Hey, I've a place in mind
It's the only place they'll leave us alone
but how can I know you'll stay?
If I don't the place will still be there
for all eternity
The place we ran in each other's eyes
a home away from tears.
