My dear Lord
May I please say
Before comes daylight
How I sought you in silence
Found non-sound invoked you
And my heart leapt with cleaving
I was cleaned and now whole
Am able to see more clearly
Just where I have been
And can smile again
Now I am free

A prayer from the roots of poetry...i like it...especially the structural design which if turned rightmargin up takes the form of several possible underlyings, including a Church, Calvary & Sermon on the Mount. Also noticed that that none of the 11 line work has a double-digit syllabic count(if that meant anything)And that the longest line in legth ,the line that may signify the Church's Steeple or the top of Calvary , or The Mount, has 7 syllables....7 being the number of Heaven, of The Lord, and of the 7 Seals from St. John The Evangelists Book ofRevelation, and the foretelling of the Final War & The Last Judgement....I'm overdoing it again, Fay, yes,no ?Hey...I LIKED IT & I'M ANAL...what can i say ?! F j R
